Three women in tech standing in front of a Codess banner

Yesterday, I had the honor to attend an invite-only networking event in Miami hosted by Codess, Microsoft’s community of female coders. Over 100 software engineers, UI/UX developers, IT tech and cybersecurity analysts from all over Florida attended this event. I got to meet women that drove all the way from Boca Raton, Tampa, and even Orlando just to attend this amazing event!

We mingled, ate, drank and had the opportunity to listen to one of Microsoft’s speakers. The speaker was Tina Eskridge, Senior Director of Cloud for Everyone at Microsoft. She gave us some motivation and tips on how to follow and achieve our goals into the new year.

Most importantly, I had the pleasure of meeting some kickass women in the tech field! Got to learn more about other industries within the tech field and the journeys and goals of these women. It was definitely not a night to forget and I hope I will the opportunity to attend the next Codess event!
